the 2nd tuesday of the month 12:00pm - 4:00pm location:at the first baptist church douglass in the fellowship hall behind the church. currently, we serve an average of 60 clients per month and are always looking for more people to assist with their monthly groceries. we enjoy what we do and are dedicated to our mission to help others. our shelves include but are not limited to bread and pastries, canned fruits and vegetables, boxed dinners, canned meats & protein foods such as peanut butter, beans, and rice, tuna, chicken, sardines, vienna sausage. we also offer frozen meats and fruits when available. we welcome those who we serve and enjoying seeing them each month. douglass, texas is a small community with three retailers and a couple of churches. everything borders west state hwy 21 where these businesses are either across the highway or down the highway within throwing distance! food donations: donations are always needed and may be dropped off at the douglass trading post (our office of operation) monetary donations: always needed and much appreciated and may be mailed to our office and payable to douglass community food pantry. you may also donate online on our facebook page.mailing address:p.o box 204douglass, tx 7593for more information, please call.
